Seven years ago I fell in love
Seven years is a long time
Even for a shallow relationship
With no depth and no future
Just day by day by dayÉ
Éseven years?!?!?!
There was definitely love
And lots of lust!
We sure had good times together;
Parties, shows, restaurants and bars
Living together was easy, too easy.
But after seven years love faded
Suddenly sheÕs not that pretty anymore
The easy living became boring
No challenges, no ambition
After seven years together
WeÕve became comfortably numb
Taking each other for granted
Even the lust is gone
Just quick cold sex
Seven years is surely a cycle
ÒSleek and fatÓ or ÒUgly and thinÓ
ÒHealthy and goodÓ or Òthin and blastedÓ
Only time will tell
But I want out
I wanna be free
Afraid of the change
Afraid of heartbreak
DonÕt wanna miss her
