December 2006 poll tells us that the majority of you haven't been to the Antihoot.Perhaps you are too far from NYC to attend the weekly open-stage at Sidewalk Cafe, the notorious heartbeat of the Antifolk scene. The place where everyone from Jeff Buckley to Regina Spektor cut their performance teeth. Well, in 2007, your mission is to make a pilgrammage to this mecca of the scene!

November-So, How'd ya vote?
Almost half of you voted Democrat, cool, but the next biggest block didn't vote! We're gonna go with the idea that you either aren't eighteen or are filling out the poll from another country so we don't get too depressed. Coming in third were the Greens with about 12% of the vote. Now, onto 2008!

February: The "When Did You Discover Antifolk" Poll

The scene has been kickin it for two decades. Influencing the reality on Earth in subtle, underground ways. However, for those of you digging on it today and hanging out on the website, it's a recent phenomenon. Ah, cyberyouth! 56% of you have discovered Antifolk in the last 5 years and 25% in the last 4 months! 12% have been in on it since the mid-nineties, 3% since between 1991 and 1995 and less than 4% since the eighties. What does this result mean? Tell us what ya think on the message board, bay-bee!

January: The Drug Poll

January's poll came out with 40% of 107 of you claiming alcohol as your favorite drug! Good news for all the bars you play at! Check out second place. Favorite drug...SOBRIETY(!) with30% of the vote! Maybe Sidewalk should hold an AA meeting in it's basement and boost coffee sales! Third place with 16 votes: marijuana, mushrooms with 8 votes, coke, speed and heroin with three votes each (Thankfully low as we've had people DIE on this scene from those drugs!) and poor ol' LSD limping in with only 2 votes (no wonder the revolution is stalled out!).

2005:

December Poll: Overwhelming majority (65%) have yet to have sexxx on the Antifolk scene. 20% have had sex with up to 3 people on the scene and 10% claim to have gotten it on with over 10 people on the scene!

November Poll:Overwhelming majority prefer to be called Antifolkers rather than Antifolkies.
